I’ve been working on some custom projects lately. This one for a sweet lady who is running an up and coming beauty blog. She was looking for a complete rebrand and let me run free with ideas. I came up with three options for her to choose from, two hand drawn and one in a watercolor brush script.
This was my first time creating a watercolor logo. I usually work only in pen so it took some practice to get it exactly right. Try and try again.
She decided to go with the watercolor version and I’m so glad she did. We’re both just swooning over it. We both really loved the brush script and how it played well with make-up application, her main focus. We used a peacock toned ombré color scheme to play up the peacock aspect without using the typical peacock feather and incorporated a clean sans serif font for her tagline. What do you think? Do you love it as much as we do?
